APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING SECRETARY - SOUTH PORTLAND
Responsible for all aspects of scheduling for Physicians and Physician Extenders.  Duties include:  collection and entry of demographic and insurance information; understanding of precertification/referral authorization requirements; obtaining accurate patient diagnosis, history, medications, pre-testing needs, and referring office demographics; understanding of patient appointment instructions and appointment related materials; communicating clearly and concisely with patients, internal staff, and others as required. 

CHART PREPARATION SPECIALIST - SOUTH PORTLAND
Responsible for all patient chart preparation three days prior to the appointment date with physicians, physician extenders and test appointments scheduled in our South Portland office and outside clinics. It is expected that the Chart Preparation Specialist works within guidelines established by the Physicians, Physician Extenders, Health Information Manager and Internal Operations Manager.  Responsibilities/Duties include, but are not limited to:  Corresponding with referring offices to obtain medical information to complete the patient chart, use of hospital links to obtain hospital records, ensuring patient demographic information is accurate and up to date, scanning and attaching patient records for electronic chart.  Experience with data entry/computer experience in medical office or hospital setting & medical terminology.  (Full-Time; M - F)

CLINICAL ASSISTANT - SOUTH PORTLAND
Responsible for assisting Physicians and Physician Extenders with the evaluation, management and treatment of patients in an outpatient care setting.  The Clinical Assistant assumes responsibility for maintaining patient flow, performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing, and performing advanced skill testing to include Stress Testing, TMs, Events, and Holters.  This position will require a detailed knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).  Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program, AS degree, BS degree, or equivalent medical office experience & CPR certification required.  (Full-Time; M - F)

CLINICAL ASSISTANT - ROCKPORT
Responsible for the timely rooming of patients and patient testing in preparation for physician office visits:  Patient height, weight, and vital signs; 12 lead electrocardiogram; Experience with Holter or Event monitors; Entering data by way of Electronic Medical Records System including, but not limited to: allergies, medications, past medical history, family history, social history, review of systems; Maintenance of quality assurance forms;  Compliance with OSHA safety standards;  Maintenance of prescription refills; Detailed abstraction of medical data from paper medical record to electronic medical record; Maintain all aspects of patient confidentiality.   (Full-Time; M-F)

PATIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE - CALL CENTER - SOUTH PORTLAND
Responsible for all incoming phone calls to include prescription refills and symptom triage, scheduling to include administrative, in-patient, out-patient, and urgent patient scheduling for all Physicians and Physician Extenders.  This position will require a detailed knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).  Experience with prescription refill and symptom call triage, data entry/computer experience in medical office or hospital setting, & medical terminology preferred.  (Full-Time; M - F)
